Established in 2006, The Bidding Consultancy has worked with companies throughout the UK on successful tenders and RFPs for contracts of up to £100m - in both the public and private sectors. Our People
The Bidding Consultancy is led by three Managing Partners, who bring unrivalled experience in procurement and insights into what it takes to win new business. They are supported by an exceptional team of associate consultants, who have a diversity of bidding knowledge and expertise.
Managing Partners
Paul Neill
Paul has extensive knowledge of procurement and tendering across all key categories of expenditure - including IT, estates, facilities management, marketing, business services, and consultancy - and major PFI/PPP and outsourcing contracts. He has supported bids in all industry sectors, working with businesses of all sizes, from FTSE 100 companies to SMEs.
He has over twenty five years of procurement experience , in public and private sectors, and held senior procurement roles in the NHS, local government, central government, and the telecoms sector.
Bryan Avery
Bryan's background is in contract management and outsourcing in the fields of communications, strategic and business change consultancy, estates, facilities and records management, training and recruitment. He has worked in partnership with corporations in construction and engineering; media services; professional and research services; and has director level experience of business regulation.
He was a Board Director of the Treasury's Office of Government Commerce, and previously head of procurement at the Department of Trade and Industry. He has international and domestic project management experience, and worked closely with Ministers and senior officials in the centre of government.
Mike Meredith
Mike has over 20 years commercial experience in running and advising on hundreds of contracts, from multi-million pound outsourcing deals to consultancy and sensitive advisory contracts.
More recently, Mike has advised organisations on how best to compete for scarce business in the current difficult economic climate and has worked with an NHS Foundation Trust on how to introduce a new Trust-wide cost reduction strategy.
